Weekend....

Our weekend started a little early with Chris' arrival on Thursday night. Joe was hoping to go to bed before he got here, but just couldn't stay in bed once Chris walked through the door... they chatted and had a few Guinness before calling it a night.

On Friday the kids were too excited to have Chris here too and did not want to go to school, but they were finally convinced and happy to see Chris pick them up...

John and Kelly Reed joined the 3 of us for a Spurs game..... too bad they didn't win and we were in the nosebleed section.... {i've come to realize that I am a ticket-snob and don't like bad seats... but in order to do anything about it I think I have to win the lottery... and just live with bad/cheap seats until then!}






Last night we got a babysitter, again, and headed up to New Braunfels for Wurstfest "the ten day salute to sausage" {and beer and german food}... It was CRAZY to say the least. We took the kids up there last weekend and decided it would be much more fun and easier to manuever around without kids, and with Chris.. so off we went :)

just a couple of the empty pitchers... there was SO much beer, food, crazy people, more food and more beer... undescribable really... we found a table in one of the rooms and just camped out there.. the table could seat probably 10 and us 3 just sat and waited for random people to come and join us. Lots of laughs and good conversation and even a little Jager to wash it all down :)




This morning the kids decided that wrestlemania would be fun... poor Chris.. especially after all the beer he had last night.



{and yes, the kids are wearing their Steeler shirts... Chris' favorite team is the Indianapolis Colts and we are die-hard Steeler fans... and they just happen to be playing each other today! GO STEELERS!!!!}
