A week at the Karhan's

The week started off with a big first for our Land Cruiser ... it hit 100,000 miles on the Tacoma Narrows Bridge and I just happened to have the camera. You might have to click on the picture to make it bigger. The truck still runs great and will hopefully keep on going for a long time.

We had a visit at my parents house with our old neighbors. Christy lives in Issaquah now and Lisa and Hanna are still back on the east coast. It was good to see them and catch up. The kids had fun goofing off and showing off for them.

Every now and then, the kids are lucky enough to get a bath..... just kidding! We just happened to snap some pictures this week of them in the bath tub. Sometimes they play well together and other times not so much...

Enjoying some lazy time on the couch after bath time.

Joe had an interesting end to his week or I should say the beginning of his week. He was on his way to work Friday afternoon and didn't make it. He is okay, still a little sore, but the car, as you can see from the picture below, didn't do so well.

We had brunch over at my parents on Sunday and Courtney and Chad and Papi came down from Seattle. My sister is also pregnant. She is due with twins 4 weeks after us. She is quickly catching up to me and I'm sure she will pass me by with her belly one of these weeks...

Zerberts and the Zoo

We went to the zoo earlier this week and visited the animals. The kids love to see the sharks :)

Earlier tonight Nicholas tackled Caroline and gave her some zerberts on her back. It was pretty darn funny.

Little Papi

Little Papi (Courtney and Chad's dog) just left this evening after being here for a week. The kids warmed up to him right away and Caroline was even calling him "my dog". They are going to be very sad when they wake up tomorrow morning and realize that Papi isn't downstairs in his crate. We had an adventure with him here, definately kept us on our toes. He was fun and the kids had a blast. Sounds like Courtney and Chad had a good time in Panama too. We'll get to see their pictures next week.
Nicholas had so much fun that he even liked to climb in Papi's cage... he would say "night night" as he climbed in.

Silly Boy

Nicholas loves to make funny faces at the camera and get as close as he can to it... crazy kid! He had the stomach flu two weeks ago and lost about 4 pounds and it has not taken him long to gain it back plus some... he must be getting ready for growing a little taller or something.

This week we have my sister Courtney's dog. Her and Chad are in Panama for a week. The kids are loving having him around. I'm not so sure he quite feels the same way, but it's been fun anyway.

Lunch with friends

Last week Matt and Brady came for lunch. The kids always love it when they come over :)

Little Miss Cheese

Superheros!!!

Last week the kids and I went over to the Laybourn's to play for a while. Chris, Becky and I were all upstairs playing cards and the kids were downstairs watching Cars.... or so we thought.
We heard some jumping around and when Becky got downstairs, this is what she found... The kids had managed to build a superhero course and with their superhero capes they were running around minus a few clothes. Even Nicholas managed to get his pj top off. They were having tons of fun though!!!!
