Joe, Eli, Hal, & Jeff have been friends longer than I have known Joe (more than 10 years) and Jeff asked the three guys to be his Best Men in his wedding....   We all ventured to Ridgway, Co for the big day...

Grandpa's house!

We started our summer off with a trip to Colorado to see Joe's dad and for Joe to be in his friend Jeff's wedding.  Thankfully the two destinations were within a couple hours of each other and we were able to spend a week enjoying friends and family. 

Grandpa lives in an area where there are lots of Native American Indian ruins.  We went off to one of the larger ones to show the kids around.

We all had such a great time being out on his property and playing around.  The kids went for hikes with their daddy and found lots of  animal bones and broken indian pottery.

HAPPY 6th BIRTHDAY NICHOLAS!!!!

I know I say this every year, and I probably always will, but how is he 6 already???  It has been such a year of growth for him!! He has sprouted up and he has learned so much this year in school.  I am so proud of all that he has done and the sweet little boy that he continues to be.

He got a couple gift cards to Toys R'us for his birthday and this was what he picked out :)

On the actual day of his birthday we were out at Cattleman's Steakhouse for a going away dinner for some of our friends.  Nicholas was a great sport and shared his birthday with all of our friends!
