Traditions....

So, some of you may have noticed that we have our Christmas tree in the background of some pics. Yes, we were crazy and put them up a little early. We were putting halloween stuff away one day and the kids were begging to get the tree out. We have a BIG tree but it's kind of a pain to put up and put away, and since we are going to Dallas and then Seattle for Christmas and will be gone for a month, we took the easy way out and put up two small trees instead. And that too was the reason we put them up early. My goal is to take them down before we head north so when we come home the end of January, it's not still Christmas here...

Anyway, on to traditions... when we were kids we always got Christmas pj's on Christmas eve... I changed it up a little bit and we decided to give the kids Christmas pj's on thanksgiving night and that way they can wear them all through the christmas season... Caroline noticed within 2 minutes of me putting the presents under the tree.. it was pretty funny... They were very excited to open their pj's and we also gave them The Polar Express. We all snuggled up and watched the movie with the kids in their pj's ... great end to a good night!

Molly was a little upset at this point....

And then she was happy.. . and they were dancing! :)
