And we're off.....

Off to Seattle for 13 days of family, friends, Christmas and fun! We took an evening flight which I haven't done with the kids when I have flown without Joe... I was a little worried how well they would do and if they would fall asleep around their bedtime or not. Caroline and Nicholas sat on one side of the plane with a 9 year old boy who was flying by himself. They were in pure kid heaven! Molly and I sat on the other side of the plane with a nice young man who wasn't too horribly upset to be stuck in the middle of the craziness.

Getting settled....


Molly all locked in her carseat. Thankfully she loves to be in her seat, so it was one less thing for me to have to worry about. Within 10 minutes of taking off she was asleep and slept the first half of the flight :)


Having fun with all their food and movies. The flight attendant was super to us and spoiled the kids with a digi-player and plenty of food. It was so nice to have great, amazing cusotomer service. Made the flight so much easier and pleasant!


Molly woke up, and Nicholas fell asleep for the 2nd half of the flight.

Caroline on the other hand never did fall asleep. We landed in Seattle around midnight Eastern time. WAY past their bedtimes.

When we got to Nana and Papa's house the train was all set up and to our surprise there was a second train. Nicholas was in pure heaven! The kids were still fighting going to bed at 12:30 am (3:30 am Eastern time) and sadly they were still up at 6am the next morning! AAAHHH!!!!!
