My plan is to update this as much as possible, even if it is just one photo a day, so that Joe has something to look forward to when he has internet access and can see what his kids are up to.
Today was day 1. It still hasn't sunk in that Joe is gone for 6 months. I know he's gone, but it just feels like he's on vacation. I'm sure it will hit me soon that this is a little bit different then him just being gone for a few days. So far the kids are doing ok. N & M don't seem to be affected emotionally as much as C is. She had a really hard time the first night. Thankfully they all have their "daddy dolls" to snuggle with.
Here is a picture of our adventure on day 1. We went to the home depot workshop and made pencil boxes. Even Molly got to participate for the first time :)
