We just got back from a week down in Palm Springs with our friends Chris and Becky Laybourn and their two boys. The sun was out all week and the water in the pool was warm. We were able to take it easy all week and even catch a few naps here and there. Caroline was a brave girl and went down the waterslide a few times. She was not a big fan. Nicholas just liked to sit on the first step of the baby pool and the big pool and he would crawl back and forth and back and forth for the longest time. On Friday Joe and I got him into the pool with us and pushed him back and forth between us and he LOVED it! He would even go underwater and want to go again. And after that he wouldn't stay on the first step anymore. He liked to go down to the second or third and just fall in towards me and hope that I caught him. All in all we had a great time playing in the sun and hanging out with friends. We were also fortunate enough one evening to have dinner with my uncle and Becky was nice and watched the kids one night for Joe and I so we could have a night out.
