Last week the kids and I flew down to Birmingham, Alabama. Joe came down on Thursday and then we all came back Monday. Joe's sister Katie got married and Caroline was her flower girl. We had such a great time hanging out with Katie and Lee, Grandpa Tim and Grandma SuSu and we even got to see Grandpa Doug for a bit. The weather cooperated and we got to enjoy some much needed sunshine and play outside. Grandma SuSu and Grandpa Tim have a cat named Toby and the kids absolutely loved chasing him around. We tried to make a trip to the zoo and we were surrounded by field trips so we didn't last long.... just long enough to feed the giraffes.
The wedding was beautiful. Caroline tried to steal the spot light during the first dance. She was out spinning around while Katie and Lee danced. And then again when Katie danced with her dad.
We had a great time and it was hard to leave the warmth and say good bye to family. We hope that Katie and Lee had a great honeymoon!!!!

Kiersten, thanks for the pictures, it looks like you guys had a great time. I really love the picture with Joe and the kids all dressed up sitting on the sidewalk blowing bubbles. Hope all is well with you and your pregnancy.
