This has been a rough week for the kids. They are both fighting colds. On Monday Nicholas ended up spending the night at Madigan Army Hospital for Croup. He was having a really tough time breathing with his cold so we took him in and they kept him to give him some breathing treatments and steroids. It took him about 12 hours from when we first got to the hospital to finally turn the corner for the better. We were able to go home Tuesday afternoon and now you would never know that he had even been sick. Poor Caroline has the same little cold, but it hasn't effected her quite the same. Here are a couple pics of the kids being lazy and eating apples on the couch with Daddy while watching Mickey Mouse.....
As of Monday, Joe is off Active Duty in the Army for a while!!! Hard to believe that it was two years ago that this little adventure started!!! Now we're on to the next adventure and Joe is tackling Organic Chemistry at TCC. It is kicking his butt to say the least! It's been good for him to get back in the swing of school. He will be working at Madigan still, but as an agency nurse instead of a Major. :)
