Happy Valentine's Day!

The kids REALLY wanted to have a tea party yesterday for Valentine's Day. And Caroline REALLY wanted it to be outside. But as you can see, they are wearing their winter jackets. It was freezing out yesterday and way too cold for an outdoor tea party. We finally convinced them to come inside . :)

Flowers for Mommy from Daddy....

We did Valentine's Day on Friday... I had no clue we were doing this and it was the perfect suprise! I was having a "poor me, no vacation in sight, i want to cry" kind of day and about 3 in the afternoon Joe surpised me with a gift certificate for a pedicure. It was really nice to get out of the house and relax after my morning and the place he sent me gives you a glass of wine while you get pampered! perfect! I came home and the first thing Caroline says is "where's Allison?". Joe had lined up the babysitter and everything! We went out for a nice dinner and adult time. It was perfect! On Valentine's morning, the kids made me chocolate chip pancakes in bed.. MY FAVORITE! And then we gave daddy some new shirts and had a nice hang-out at home morning...
