Part II

Ouch!













I finally got a ponytail holder in Caroline's hair long enough to get a couple of pictures... She has been asking lately for me to put them in her hair, but she usually pulls it out within a couple of seconds. They don't stay in very well either because her hair is SO fine. Someday it will be long enough for better ponytails....




















Caroline has already learned how to multi-task. She was on the phone with Aunt Courtney while pretending to vacuum with the vacuum attachments.

Here's just a few pics of the kids... nothing too exciting. Aunt Courtney spent last weekend with us since Joe was working nights. Caroline enjoyed having salad (and making a mess) and learning how to make "fishy lips" with Aunt Courtney.

We're slowly getting settled back into our house. Joe has another week of night shift and then will be back on days for 2 months. We'll be working hard to get everything finished before this summer.

It's SNOWING!!

It's March 9th (happy birthday Ryan!) and it's SNOWING!!!! I'm looking out my parents kitchen window and it's white! It's not supposed to be snowing in March! What happened to all the sun we have been having?

Here are some pictures of the kids and our house. I don't have any "before" pics at the moment...

Nicholas had just gone down for a nap and Caroline snuck in his room and into his crib and the two of them wer like mexican jumping beans jumping up and down on the side of the crib. She can be such a little troublemaker sometimes!


Here's our kitchen.. I painted the backsplash and the one wall Grape Vine.. It's still a mess.. we are just beginning the unpacking process.. YUCK!

Happy Birthday Grandpa Doug! :)

Caroline was supposed to be taking a nap, instead she dumped out her juice and spread the vaseline all over the place... the jar was empty when I got there... She had been "taking a nap" for 2 hours...

sometimes I hate this thing!! Oiy!! it takes forever to upload and then you lose everything.... can't computers just work properly?????

It's Nicholas' turn for some pics on the blog... He has figured out how to stand up and push Caroline's chair around the kitchen. I know he's a few months away from walking on his own, but I am not ready for this new found freedom of his. I don't think Caroline is either. She keeps trying to push him back down on the floor.
Her toys are her toys, and his toys are her toys.... hopefully someday this will get better...

What is a girl from Pittsburgh to do??? GO STEELERS! I"ll post pics later... Caroline is wearing her Steeler sweatshirt, Nicholas is wearing his Seahawk T-shirt.... We came home from church and The Terrible Towel was hanging in the window and the Steeler song was blaring on my parents stereo... Caroline wanted to wave the towel so it came down out of the window for a few minutes so she could dance with Nana. She'll be up from her nap just in time for kick off...
